Strip inserter: in need of a customized automation solution, such as inserting a strip in laminate boards to assure an easier production and installation of wooden floors? At Avercon we find and build solutions for specific challenges in the production process. This customized solution is designed to position strip material in motion from a roll into an opposite profile and to cut it on the right length.
The Strip inserter is an efficient and modular machine, compact and robust. Developed for high quality production at high speed and with precision.
Premium components such as Siemens PLC, Sick sensors, Festo Pneumatics are integrated. It has a limited number of moving parts resulting in a reliable operation.
The Strip inserter can be delivered in two speeds:
- the high speed SI-75
- the basic Eco SI-25
High speed strip inserter SI-75-S/D
The strip inserter SI-75-S/D is the high-end Avercon solution designed for production lines at high speed and precision. The SI-75-D is a double strip feeding system with double reel unwinder realizing a reel change without board loss, ensuring a continuous production process.

Eco strip inserter SI-25-S
The strip inserter SI-25-S ECO is a basic version of the Avercon strip inserter machines, designed for high quality production lines at lower speeds.

Up to 75m/minute strips are inserted in the profiles of wooden boards. Depending on the production line and the situation on site, ca. to 8km of strips can be inserted in laminate boards per day.
